Large areas of stratus first thing breaking up then Cu to 4,500ft. As the front approaches there will be increasing top cover during the later part of the afternoon.

WSW 10 knots. WSW 14 knots at 2,000ft but significantly stronger to the NW ahead of the front

Synopsis

An early start today as long as the stratus clears. With reasonably high cloud base and less risk of spreadout than previous days this is probably one of the best of the Regionals comp. As the top cover comes in it will weaken conditions but not kill them so there is not distinct cut off time but it will be increasing difficult as the conditions weaken and the wind strength increases

Outlook

Saturday although the cold front clears through by mid morning I am not too sure about the airmass behind it. It seems very unstable and moist. Sunday looks pretty good from early on but a trough might put an early end to it. Monday pretty good. Tuesday really very good start but might end early.
