The London Gliding Club Instructors Web This web site is intended to provide up to date news for instructors at the London Gliding Club. Visiting Instructors from other clubs need to be aware that whilst every effort is made to standardise with BGA training methods, some issues might be site specific to Dunstable Airfield and should not therefore be considered suitable for adaption to other gliding sites. New Weather page for Dunstable What's Changed? Minor corrections will not feature in the table, only content changes.
New Pilatus B4. LGC now owns a Pilatus B4. It has been purchased for aerobatics use primarily. It is not intended to be used for cross country flying and the soaring fees will not be capped at the usual 2 hours. There are no "hours" requirements to fly it but pilots wishing to fly it should have an aerobatics card signed off allowing them to practise solo aerobatics. They will require a briefing. Instructors of all levels have automatic authority to fly it but please take a briefing first from me or any rated instructor who has flown it. Our Home
The club house on a busy autumn morning. If there are any items that you would like included in these pages please e-mail them to me and I will do my best. I am also keen for constructive suggestions for improvement to the site. andrew@roch818.fsnet.co.uk
